Discussion about
i've noticed a few listings coming back on the market with higher asking prices. not sure what the logic is especially on the first one which has been on the market for well over a year now. they are now asking $1000/sq foot for a complete wreck co-op on the 4th floor overlooking 6th ave: http://streeteasy.com/nyc/sale/347764-coop-69-west-9th-street-greenwich-village-new-york http://streeteasy.com/nyc/sale/488758-coop-890-west-end-avenue-manhattan-valley-new-york

I love Muay Thai, too. These listings are hoping to attract overseas buyers. The overseas buyers that have purchased in my condo are clueless. (and, so are most of the other unit owners , even those who actually live in the building.)

truth, glad to hear you are a fellow fan of muay thai. it's the best.

hard to judge from just a few listings, but i feel like sellers are starting to get overconfident again.
if so, we could see another inventory build up.

Noah commented on UD that sellers seem to be outpacing buyers in terms of optimism back in mid-December. I would hazard that these are some examples of seller optimism.

That Gramercy place just looks so darn small.

Here's one at the Chelsea Stratus. Owned by the broker himself still trying for that flip. I don't blame him for trying to dump it with Extel buying that antiques garage and planning to put up a 30 story hotel forever blocking this unit's views. I saw it when he was asking 1,7ish then he took it off the market.
