Discussion about
I'm moving into a pre-war coop on UES that needs 2 bathrooms replaced, some floors repaired, several builtins, trim work, and some kitchen cabinets added. Does anyone have a contractor they recommend?

You sound like you have some cash...but boy you sound kind of lazy and catered to. Do some real research.

I am completing a total gut renovation of a 2 bedroom in midtown. I used ADJ Contracting 917-363-8090 for drywall and flooring. They were reasonably priced and showed up everyday and did a nice job. I used New York Closet 212-439-9500.It is the second time I used them. They are a lot cheaper than California and just as good for midrange closet stuff. California on the high end is awesome but way expensive.
