Yes, what is up with Prime Manhattan. They just put up a bunch of UWS listings with no addresses. How do I know if I want to check it out if I don't know were it is???WTF?

Seems fishy... That living room picture looks like the same picture they used for 260 PAS #12D.
notsure: The issues aren't limited to the listings with no address. Those are probably just come-ons to get buy-side business on other firms' exclusives.
My favorite is their listing for 302 West 86th #10D. Looks great... except there's no "D" line in that building.
I just had 60 new hits on my search list, 50 of which are Prime Manhattan. WTF? NONE of them have floorplans. Very fishy indeed.

Can a firm be disciplined/censured for that sort of nonsense?

I also just sent SE an email voicing my annoyance and asking them what they are going to do in the future to prevent Prime Manhattan from doing this ever again.

this is the kind of thing that makes me cringe as a broker. This happens all over the rental market but there are a few companies that do it on the sales side as well and the other problem besides misleading buyers, is that it skews the inventory data on sites like streeteasy and others and makes their data less accurate. The problem is that streeteasy's method of acquiring data is the take it directly from the websites of the agencies(i think) and so it cannot differentiate between "real" listings and "not real" listings until their actual employees go through and weed it all out.
It boggles my mind that these agents do not think buyers will be pissed when they realize it is not an actual listing that that person has exclusively.

At the request of our users, we though we'd explain what happened with these listings. A feed of open listings came into StreetEasy unintentionally through Prime Manhattan, and once we saw the issue we hastily worked toward getting rid of the listings and, more importantly, making sure this never happened again. All of the non-exclusives have been removed, and we apologize for any confusion this caused.

"Open"/"nonexclusive" listings . . . sounds more like nonexistent listings to me.
