Discussion about
We just moved in to a townhouse rental and are looking for nice looking but reasonably priced outdoors lounge type furniture (you know the dark wicker cube modular seating with cushions.) We only have a 1 year lease on the place and don't know where we're off too next so don't want to shell out too much for it. Still hoping for something stylish though. Any thoughts?

I found very stylish and inexpensive outdoor furniture (when I was in a rental a few yrs ago and had a huge terrace) at Bed & Bath. It wasn't the wicker type (I think that can be expensive)...chairs and lunges in a brown-bronze finish with brown mesh...table with a glass top and matching umbrella. All pretty high quality for the price. It was washable, which was an added bonus since outdoor seating can get very dirty in the city.
Hope this helps.

NYCMatt - Lol! You had me hoping there for a second.

Thanks Prada. Spouse really wants the loungy wicker stuff. I just want to get something soon and would settle for a table and chairs if all else fails so we can enjoy our one summer in the place!

A warning about wicker: It's very high-maintenance, and can get pretty "buggy" (bugs, particularly BED BUGS) burrow inside the fibers.

Stick with this: http://www.backyardcity.com/images/TOR/Metal-Set.jpg

Thanks. I didn't know that. I guess there is something to be said for polyurethane.
