Discussion about 75 Henry Street in Brooklyn Heights
This place is a AWESOME place to buy in the Heights. You get great space, light and storage in the quiet North Heights. It's a great value for all that you get.

the keys to your apartment run through the brokers. make them happy and the board will follow.
The improvements have made this a class A building. The redoing of the hallways was long overdue. The location of the building with its views is what makes this building special.
Cool -- this building was designed by Morris Lapidus, the guy who did the Fontainbleu Hotel in Miami: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morris_Lapidus
The prices of the units have gone through the roof. The area just keeps getting better and better. The movie theater across the street has closed down and a five story coop will be built. The water front park is expanding and has upscale restuarands about. They can toot all they want about Dumbo, but Brooklyn Heights is thee place. It would be nice if the city maintained the memorial park. The steps are in a very unsafe condition.
Judging from the very few rentals compared to the number of apartments, the board frowns upon subletting?
I believe it's a former Mitchell Lama project. That might have something to do with it.
I looked at this building. It has a lot going for it.
From it's elegant lobby to its impeccably maintained interiors, this is a premiere building! It's solid financials and effective management are incomparable. Magical location with views of entire city skyline, including One World Trade Center, the Empire State and Chrysler buildings.
