Remember me from last year! Yes.....i finally signed tonight and feel GOOD about it.....actually passing up on that apt last year was a good thing....got a better deal and location that i wanted....so i guess things do work out...now i just have to pass the coop board interview......so will update you in 1 to 2 months!
Congrats! Is it the one at 16 Park?
congrats.... i remember you being very upset, worrying that you missed the right time. well, everything happened for the best.
congrats!!!!!!!
thanks.......
for letting us know mhillqt...its a great time now it seems
And to think they are turning off the lemming juice in 2 days. Wishing you a merry closing bf June 30th!!!!!!
You finally beat out the too metrosexual european dog walker! Awesome! Hope the bidding war wasn't too taxing.
congrats and best of luck in your new place!!!
great news. enjoy.
Congratulations! See, there is always another apartment and it all worked out fine. Enjoy your new space!
Congratulations...I hate when people say "things happen for a reason" (I always want to ask "WTF was the reason for 9/11?") but I've found it to be largely true when it comes to home buying. Everyone I know has "the one that got away"...and likes the one they got a whole lot better!!!
Congrats!
Mazel tov!
Just be formal in the interview: be nice to the board members, smile politely, and speak only when spoken to.

thanks...
Ali...hopefully the board interview is more conversational....what typesof questions do they ask?
The big one is "why do you want to live HERE?"
other ones are, "tell me about the last place you lived? Have you lived in a co-op before? I don't understand ___ about your board package, can you clarify it?"
ali
congrats!
Congratulations...all the best!
Congratulations! Are you buying into a small co-op or a big one?
If small, be prepared for ANYTHING. Aside from "why do you want to live here," we did not get a single standard question, and we got a whole bunch of oddball ones, including some that various brokers told us we absolutely would not get. (Some of the questions that we -- and even our references -- got were not legal. We were asked directly if we had plans for children, and a few of our references were asked if they knew if we had any plans to do so(!). By the way, I don't know if it's normal practice or not, but our co-op called all of our references and conducted formal interviews with them.
Almost congrats. When THEY sign it too, you will be in contract. For now, you are just "in waiting", which hopefully a week from you does not turn to "in limbo"
