Discussion about
I understand an Army of Rats is now living in front of The Link these days. Apparently, these rodents have no fear of humans. So they must have evolved into the breed that is famously depicted in horror movies. And as we all know with rats- where there is one, there are millions! Maybe they are filming a horror movie in the building.
It's described by StreetEasy as an "Amusement Place, Bathhouse or Boat House".
The rodent kind of rats can be a big problem, but a bigger problem are the human kind. Heard you got lots of those on your Board.
Tomato doesn't have an e in it, Dan Quail.
I happen to live at the Link. And the rat problem (in the gardens out front) is outragous. Not to mention disgusting. I brought this to the attention of a board member a week ago, and his reply was, "It's New York." Now there are even more rats. Surprise surprise. What is most distubing is that the same board that doesn't seem to care if there are rats in bushes in ront of the building had a coronary when little dogs peed on their precious plants out front. To the point where they sent an email out to all residents telling them not to let their dogs pee on their bushes (but rats are ok!). The Link needs better management. And/or a better exterminator.
I say eat them, save on costs.
Ha! Eet the rats or the board members? And how would you tell the difference?
rats dont talk
Let them eat kake.
Real rats? This is New York. They'll call an exterminator and be done with the problem.
... and canaries don't sing
... and stoolies don't ... stoolies don't, um, um, do whatever stoolies don't.
Stoolie problem? I recommend Immodium. It's on the periodic chart.
"willard"
truth, you've got mail.
just ship the rats back to lic. uppity things, thinking they deserve the splendor of midtown manhattan. the nerve.
But Mousie, thou art no thy lane
Also, aboutready, I'm reporting you to the ASPCA for your animal-cruel suggestion. Long Island City ... you might as well suggest poisonous poison.
aren't rats more quickly adaptive from an evolutionary standpoint? they may very well thrive by this point in such an environment
At this point, maybe ... but once the RE tax abatements time out? Animal cruelty, I tell ya.
