At 200 West 67th Has anyone seen these apartments. Are they renting? Are they flexible with the pricing? The rents seem quite high and the amenities don't seem as nice as The Corner. Any insights?

Sorry. This was meant for the rental threads.

I went to the building a few months ago. When I went to the rental office on a Sunday afternoon, I was told that I needed an appointment and the only time they had available that day was about 4:30pm when I had to be somewhere else and I didn't make an appointment for another day. The rental office was in one of their apartments. My feeling was that they were not flexible with respect to pricing. The kitchen and bathroom looked fairly nice, but I've not see the Corner.

I recently rented an H-line 1-bedroom unit at Aire. I've been in the building about 2 weeks and I've gotta say its fantastic so far. The apartment finishes are amazing... each day I live there I discover another cool feature in the unit. For example, nothing slams, no drawers, cabinets, etc. They all have a soft-close feature. The cool toilet has the same soft-close feature. The bathrooms are spacious and have big vanities opposite the medicine cabinet so you can see yourself from multiple angles-really cool. I saw about 20 apartments before signing with Aire and I'm positive I made the right choice. This thread mentions The Corner (above Trader Joe's). I went there and they are 25% more expensive and the only thing I liked better about it was a slightly (and I mean slightly) better location. The views from Aire are amazing... I recommend spending the extra hundred bucks are so to get a unit above the 20th floor. What fun is living in a building with spectacular views if you're on the lowest floors? Another REALLY cool feature is the built-in water dispenser (filtered) in the refrigerator. That saves me about $50 month that I used to spend on bottled water. I signed as long a lease as I could b/c once these rentals fill up, I doubt they will offer the same free-rent incentives ever again.

It sounds like an amazing building. It's probably one of the first that will raise rents when the market gets strong. For now they want the building occupied. Only thing missing is a top notch gym.
