This building is insanely overpriced for the location. Sure, the people who paid to build this thing must really be in a hole now, after years of trying to get it done. But I mean... come on! There are tons of unnecessarily luxurious condos in this neighborhood, and they're bigger, with much better pricing. You get a view here. That's the big difference. But unless you're willing to wait for all the projects to the east to be privatized and turned into Stuy Town-style luxe rentals, I don't know how you could ever even break even when the time comes to re-sell.
Pick a developing neighborhood that isn't so overrun with housing projects if you expect it to ever really get nice in the future. This is a neighborhood where having iPod headphones on display can get you mugged. Think about it before you put the kind of target on your back that could come with living in a building like this. You can get a better deal by living in a less conspicuous building. Or you could get a comparable deal in a safer neighborhood.

Personally, I like this part of Clinton Hill. It has an enviable amount of vibrancy and life, the neighborhood is great and Pratt just around the corner gives it a lot of spunk. We went to go visit this development the other week, and really liked the units (specifically the A line), they have a lot of strong selling points. The building isn't fully complete yet so we didn't get a chance to checkout the common areas, but they also looked promising. http://wp.me/pkLe1-d7

This is officially the worst building to live in. Sure, it looks nice on the outside and maybe on the inside too. That is until you look into depth. The hinges on the balconies are coming undone which means that the building could collapse in any minute. It was poorly built with some sort of severe leakage going on in the apartment as the floor boards are splitting and coming up. The air conditioning and heater is absolutely horrible. That isn't the worst. The worst is the door lady downstairs. If you are a college student or maybe even an young person living in the building, you will get treated horribly by the door lady. She will lose your packages, she will yell at you because she thinks she is older and that every person who is younger should respect her by saying hello. All she does is sit on her desk and continuously goes to smoke her cigarette, hence the lobby always smelling like cigarettes. She doesn't help you at all when you have problems in the apartment. She gossips about every single one of the tenants to other tenants. Just a bad place to live in my opinion.
