huntersburg, how did you figure out it was march? did you find that thread? i said earlier it may have been august, but it wasn't, it much earlier. in august, it was just below 10,000 and i was hysterical, and his words were haunting me. we're all cash we're all cash, i couldn't think about anything else and i harassed everyone about what they were doing, and told everyone that these really smart people on this message board all said the world is ending and this one guy (who was actually ok back then) who is very knowledgeable and seems like he's been in some kind of business for decades and the others seemed to have a lot of respect for him and he had seen the ups and downs and he said he went all cash OMG OMG OMG. maybe the people i alienated that summer will want to hang out again. lesson learned: the world may be ending, but the stock market does not have to reflect that. slow and steady, calm down, and drink or do drugs or something to not think about it. and keep being cheap, that's very important. hope you're well.

I don't know Ali, this broker posted a long list about how to behave, not only to gain seller and board acceptance, but also to get in good with the doormen and the broker even if the broker has serious judgment flaws vis-a-vis marketing strategy (see the latter portion of tip #2).
