I currently live here. It's not so bad. Dealing with Ogden is a headache but they are, for the most part, competent. I've heard some people call this place Dorm-andie Court cuz of its size.

I really appreciate your help. Would you recommend the 95th or 96th Street side (which is quieter)? Thank you, again, for your time.

95th st side is a lot better. I live in the neighborhood and it's very busy on 96.

Hello, does anyone know if this building is noisy due to all of the "recent grads" who move in? Particularly at night or on the weekends? Thank you.

The walls are pretty well insulated, so I wouldn't worry. If you have a choice, stick to the 205 building, it has a separate lobby and the doormen over there are very friendly. It's also a marginally shorter route to the subway.

I have lived at 205 for over 2 years and I rarely hear anything. I agree with the eric809. 205 may be the best building. One block from the subway, away from subway construction, the doormen are great, I look west with a view of the park, and the elevators aren't as busy as at 215. That building has the gym (great gym) and the rental dept. It gets busy. It's nicknamed Dormandy because there are a lot of twenty-somethings. This includes residents at the nearby hospitals, students, and new grads. But there's also a good diversity of ages as well as nationalities. I recommend the building.

I don't think its noisy at all. I have never heard any noise. I think management are the biggest A$$holes that ever existed and it gives me anxiety to live here b/c whenever i need to purchase a large item or remove something from my apt I can't. The daytime "security" guys think they are cops and REALLY stick to the rules with moving large items. I don't know if its because the management will fire them or what but its really hard to live in an environment that you feel ruled by somebody in an office.
Other then that the residents and the apts are all really nice. I don't get the 'dorm" vibe at all. I think the "dorm" nickname is something from the past or its from realtor who are jealous they can't rent in here due to management.
People complain about laundry prices but they are cheaper then any other building i ever lived in. My only complaint about this place is management and the location. But its my own preference to hate living on the boarder of the projects, near no stores and 2nd ave construction. BUt what do you expect for the cheap rent here? Its not Chelsea and we aren't paying $3,500 for a studio.
