Discussion about
As a renter in NYC who has been unsuccessful in finding a reasonable coop/condo here, I'm planning to remain a renter but finding something nice in South Beach while it's still a buyer's market. Planning to go down there to decide on the following: 1BR vs. 2BR, bay side vs. oceen side, etc. Can anyone provide some "market color" and perhaps recommend a broker and provide any advice on how to approach a search like this. Much appreciated.
i have a great broker. email me at db@resnewyork.com and i will send you her information.
Use search:

These websites provide color on the Miami mkt. They're not great. Unfortunately, there is nothing as useful as StreetEasy or Curbed down there.

Therealdeal.com/miami is probably the most reliable. There is a New York City edition too, which is the best news for New York real estate.

I can tell you from having lived there, the bayside is far better.
