Toren east view

Discussion about Toren at 150 Myrtle Avenue in Downtown Brooklyn

I visted Toren today and noticed that there's a plot of land adjacent to the east side of the building that looks like its being prepared for some development. Does anyone know what is being built there?

I was supposed to be a supermarket, but that has been nixed. The land is owned by the family the owns Gristedes. The other rumor was that it was going to be mixed use additional apartments and storefronts.

Any news on the empty site near the building?
