Does anyone have any views on this building? I have been considering an A line apartment on a high floor. The city views and sunlight are great. The size of the rooms are decent and it looks like they have done a nice job designing the bathrooms. The amenities are standard (gym and yoga room) although the roof deck looks like it will be quite impressive. The garage is a huge perk for people with a car in the city as it is challenging to find reasonable parking in this area. I think the neighborhood is influx, however, it is close to the 6 train and restaurants along Park Ave South. Does anyone have any other interesting views or thoughts on this development?

i think the building and amenities are nice and the neighborhood should improve when the hotel across the street is finished. My only concern with that unit is the gigantic kitchen island that seems to take up half of the living room. If that detail doesn't bother you, i think it is a good development.

The units seem to make very good use of the space. In reference to the parking, don't bet on getting a space. There are a very few, like 10 to 15. And the sponsor may or may not sell them. The area is solid, 2 1/2 blocks to Madison Square Park. Once the hotel is finished, it will really heat up the area. The rooms will be $500 a night and there will be a pool, a first class restaurant and things that will be open to the public. The A line is nice because of its floor through design.

I've heard that their are 60+ parking spaces. They were originally going to sell them, but I think they may actually lease the spots. Not sure what the rates will be, but I think the area commands anything from $400 to $600 pre-tax. Thank you all for your feedback and please let me know if you hear of any other interesting tidbits on the development.

Parking area comprises 1/3 of the first floor and about 3/5 of the basement. There is an auto lift. The total square footage looks to be under 4000 sf which will give you closer to 15 spaces, maybe 20 if they block everything in.

I checked out two new developments in that area: 1) Twenty 9th Madison Park & 2) Jasper. Twenty 9th's location was great and finishes was good, but perhaps a little too close to the new Hotel Gansevoort just across the street... and the ongoing construction. I ultimately bought a condo in Jasper (link below & check out the StreetEasy Jasper discussion). Note: One hesitation on Jasper is that it is next to a homeless shelter. I also included another helpful link below.
Has anyone noticed the flourcent lighting in the kitchen?
My wife and I walked by last night and noticed the kitchens in the 29th Park Madison property were lit and the lighting was very bright. Does anyone know if they used flourcent lighting in their plans for the kitchen?
