Any thoughts regarding this building and it's close proximity to Asphault Green? If the proposed Garbage Transfer Station is reactivated, there could be significant changes to the area, with constant movement of garbage trucks, environmental issues, etc. Prices on the apartments on the area could take a significant hit...

we can't imagine that politicians would allow for a garbage transfer station right in the midst of such a family-oriented oasis. Permits for this have not been given and will hopefully never be given.

It's important to keep in mind that the station is actually on the other side of the FDR where thousands of cars pass daily.
The issue is the trucks and they are not going to fall out of the sky on 90th Street and drive into the station. You can live on 75th St and the trucks may well be doing right past your door.
