Discussion about 215 West 88th Street #12E
In all likelihood not even close to being a typo--owner is probably a flipper since the ink on the sales documents barely had enough time to dry--apartment was put back on the market three months after the Fall, 2009 close. Delusional seller is also aided and abetted by an equally delusional seller's broker, who may have mildly disagreed with the asking price but meekly agreed to it.
Mercedez strikes again. We just spoke about her on a different listing. I'm guessing she got her license a month ago and will take any listing she can get her hands on. She's got plenty of free time on her hands.
I am wondering where the 300+ sq ft are hiding in this 1542 sq ft unit. The MASTER is a HUGE 12X13.
With no pictures, it screams "Buy Now or Be Priced Out Forever".
No typo. Sprint hit $4.80 today up 100% from my call 4 months ago. Mercedes?, who the fk cares about another Borker / bubble seller putting random digits on cyberspace?
Sprint doubling up from my call 5 months ago and my $650k gain in my acct...... Thatz for realz.....
Still cheap at $4.80. Lete pull a Mercedes/Borker buy sprint now before it hits $600/share!!!!
This one caught my eye as well. It appears as if the unit is a rental based on this listing...

I suspect there is no real intent to sell unless they find a real 'sucker' to pay their price. It is a waste of bandwidth otherwise.
quite valid observation about the square footage--your observation can apply equally to all the apartments in this conversion. I saw two apartments in this building during the spring-summer 2009 timeframe, asking prices were north of $1500/sq. foot based on a bogus square footage. I would guess that all of the apartments' space is inflated by about 25 percent. As for the renovations, they're solid mid-level, but calling them high end provides comic relief. I pass by this building several times a week; it's basically your garden variety pre-war with no distinctive characteristics.
