Does anybody know anything about Lumiere at 350, West 53rd Street. It was built in 2005 but they're now doing rectification work one the exterior facade.

There were issues with the concrete on the balconies (it was cracking). The developer has taken responsibility for repairing. There was a delay last fall due to the permitting process with the city. The work is now on target to be completed by mid to late September. There have been no other major issues in the building.

The flooring in every apartment of this building is defective. During summer especially, due to moisture problems, the hardwood floors form bubbles. Anyone buying here will probably have to consider an additional $8K-10K expense in getting the floors re-done, if not already done.

I am interested in buying the one bedroom in the building. However, the finacial statements show deficit for the past three years. Considering already high cc, a little worried about the increase of the cc. Also, they did front facade work early this year to fix some cracking. Feel the construction quality is in question as well. Anyone has any view on this?
