Asking mortgage broker name of bank?

Discussion about
We are talking to two mortgage brokers. Both look like they can get us something appropriate. Can we ask them which bank they are using before we decide which one to go with? Do they have to tell us if we ask? Thanks.

I've never heard of a mortgage broker NOT telling you the name of the bank.
