I am interested in opinions of this new construction (2008). I am not in NY presently, or I wouldn't ask for help. Any info is appreciated.

Is that the right address? Do you mean 128? If so they are nice. Not considered prime bburg, but really great location, although street itself a bit isolated.

General location good and not far at all from bedford L...but... It's possibly too close to the bqe noise, depending which way the unit faces and what is between it and the bqe.
