The question seems not to be if but when this will happen. What are people's opinions on the timeline for a market correction? Moreover, will real estate, particularly buildings with rental units, be a good safe haven? What a better bet for an upcoming bear market, holding stocks waiting for the long term, or cashing out and buying a rental property, possibly in williamsburg, greenpoint, lic, or bedstuy or some area of prime outer borough nyc that still has some room for appreciation? nowadays i care more about mortgage rates more than stocks. stocks always have ups and downs. a good mortgage rate will last for 30 years...
