Discussion about
Does anyone have experience with this company for closet installs? They seem to be resonably priced and I liked their designs. I can't get anyone from home depot to call me back. Thanks.

Closet companies are a commodity (since they use the same materials for the most part). I found them to be reasonable and easy to work with. I would no use home depot as a comparison but other independent closet companies. Still in comparison, creative closets was relatively reasonable to the others and works pretty much exclusively in Manhattan and close suburbs so they know how things are as far as buildings, insurance etc.

Creative Closets is a reliable Manhattan company around for years. You might want to search another thread I recently started asking for recommendations for custom closets/cabinetry. For closets, many people liked this company. You can't go too wrong with then. I used them 15 years ago for 3 closets on my prior apartment and the work help up well over time.

We had excellent experience with California Closets. Yes, they are pricier than other options but the product is great, as is the service. We're very happy with the results.

I had a consultation with Creative Closets a few months ago. They are definitely knowledgeable, but seem to work with set pieces so will not make anything custom if you want higher shelves than what they offer. It really depends on how specific your needs are.

You should seriously look at Easy Closets. I know the name is cheesy but they are really good. (You have to install but you can do that or get your super or a handy man). They are a quarter of the cost of California Closets and the quality is equal. They have amazing service too - if they were a public co I'd invest, they're that good.
