Discussion about 155 East 79th Street in Lenox Hill
According to a well informed source, the construction has been hit with a Major Problem. The stairs were poured and finished until the development realized the stairs were off. Apparently, the construction crew is in there now dismantling the stairs with jackhammers, so they can be rebuilt to conform to code.

Wow, dismantling the staircase, this is almost as bad as having to lay down 80% carpeting.

And on 10/26 the developer raised the prices on the unsold units. Guess who is paying for the screw up?
