Discussion about
We are looking to do brick veneer on a wall in our townhouse but aren't sure the types or the cost... Any suggestions on where to buy and where we might be able to go to take a look at different types? I think we've become an expert in tile/stone during our renovation, but brick veneer we don't know much about... Property is in Brooklyn. Thanks for any advice.

Thanks for the value added comment, alanhart. :) I'm surprised to get no advice on here since it's usually very helpful place to ask questions. I actually got a couple good suggestions from friends that did a similar accent wall in their apartment so we're going to follow-up with them for ideas on accent walls.

I haven't seen any displayed locally, only online. Whatever you do try to go with a salvaged or reclaimed veneer so it looks original.

A useful website. However I would really consider the alternatives. I have never seen brick veneer look right.

These look pretty good. And they have the return cut for use at corners which is where I see the most glaring install fails.

Thanks everyone, these are great suggestions to take out. I agree with the comment about the need for it to be reclaimed/ real and that's what we wanted to look for. If we decide to go forward with the accent wall, I'll share our experience, but I think we have to do some research.
