Discussion about The School House at 371 Madison Street in Lower East Side
The School House claims way more than it provides. The square footage per apt is very skewed, there is no bike room, there is no media room, the pool they claim finally "opened" but is not heated and the hours of operation are very limited. As a resident I am not planning on resigning my lease.

I second this - would you mind elaborating? I was seriously considering this building, but on paper it does seem almost "too good to be true"

i can think of 2 cases: (1) most units are loft so they "double-count" the sq ft. (2) some units are too small and some units are too big but I'm doubtful this is the case.

what is this building? i looked it up and couldn't find any info on it. Are they still selling/leasing?
