In process of selling unit managing agent & board refuse to answer basic questions for my buyer. Any suggestions would be helpful,

It matters whether this is a co-op or a condo. First, verify that the managing agent has a license by contacting Department of State Licensing Services and looking them up in the database. Let's assume worst case (co-op), but in either case you need to get a lawyer letter to the managing agent and the board--unless things thaw soon. Your lawyer really should be a litigation atty who specializes in real estate. I recommend Thomas P Higgins if he has time, or someone else in his firm. Gonna cost you $350-$450/hour. Basically management needs to be made scared of the possible consequences of failing to cooperate with your sale. Lawyer letters are sent to scare people. The only problem is, if the recipient is really sophisticated or affluent lawyer letters don't necessarily have any effect.
