Discussion about
This is a question for coop board members and those in the know. Does anyone have banking contacts for a coop building mortgage. Ours is coming due and I'm in the market. Any recommendations?

Experience mortgage broker here with access to very good lenders, also niche lenders for yor specific needs.

Not exactly looking for a mortgage broker to purchase a coop but rather a banker that specializes coop "BUILDING" mortgages. Many coop buildings have outstanding mortgages which need periodic refinancing, this is what I'm searching for.

To Admin2009's list, I would add Meridian Capital.

Worth noting that Meridian is a broker, not a lender.

Meridian capital charges a lot. I do commercial loans besides residential loans, namely underlying co-op mortgages.
