Discussion about
Do you have an integrated sink? We have a tiny kitchen and thought it might look better with the sink and counter to be of the same material. I saw a sink/counter of Silastone at Home Depot that would probably work, but have no idea where to get it besides there (the reviews for HD are atrocious!) Considering Corian but scared by the reports that the sink shatter if you pour in hot water. Anyone have an integrated sink that they love, and/or advice about where to shop for quartz or dorian?

I've used the Corian integrated sink in the bathroom my children used. There was no problem. However, we've been looking into this for a commercial application recently and found that it is no longer "in" and is considered outdated. The sinks we saw came with a patterned counter and solid color sink. Why don't you just buy an undermount sink?

Very limited space. Decided against the Corian integrated sink because I've heard about them cracking from temperature shock if you pour in boiling water. No way can I count on my BF to turn on the cold water every time he drains pasta. Further research indicates that there have been problems with the way the Silastone integrated sinks are glued on. So I'm back to my original (and favorite) sink -- Kohler cast iron. The one I want is 21" wide, so we'll just have to put the faucet on the side.
