It's pretty much right next to the West Side Highway. There is a lot of new construction going up right over there though so the area should be improving. It's still a long walk to the subway though.

My mistake, it is one avenue over from the West Side Highway. 3 blocks down is the back of the Port Authority area and there are a fair number of homeless people that hang out over there. But there are also several other luxury rentals and the fairly new Gotham Market on 45th.

Yeah, good info - seems to be a lot of homeless around. I'm going to check out the street/area at night, see if it feels "safe" or is "worse" then.
