Absolutely not. When I was growing up, we used to call a foul smell a "Gowanus Interlude".

So this article is from 2013, but says proper cleanup would probably take decades.

Yes, I pay less for my 2 BR in midtown manhattan in a modern doorman building than they are asking for 2 BRs there.

I'm a big fan of the Gowanus Dredgers, but I don't think the Venn Diagram of Dredgers members and potential 365 Bond tenants have much overlap.

CC, it continues to surprise me that mid town east doorman buildings are cheaper than this. Perhaps they are doing two months off every 12 months.
