Discussion about
we're looking to disable the shower area in the 2nd bathroom and utilize it for a washer/dryer. Need recommendation for plumber (if he does the engineering plan as well, that's great) who can actually make up a drawing showing the details of the work converting hot/cold water supply, drain, adding flood meter, etc. that can be submitted to the co-op board. Once it is approved, work can proceed. Any recommendations for a decent plumber/engineer is appreciated.

Typically a board wants plans to come directly from a licensed architect or engineer. Another thing to consider is your electrical load capacity. Depending on the machine you select, you might need some electrical work preformed as well.

For a plumber, I recommend Liam of Hunter Mechanical 914-912-7869. For an engineer, I recommend Rich Lemansky rich@rhlengineering.com Best of luck! Richard Garey, R.A. www.manhatta.net

how much does it cost for a drawing for a stackable 24" washer and dryer? Thanks.
