Hi, I am relocating to NYC from Chicago and have 3 small really well-behaved older dogs. I've been looking at houses in the suburbs for the past two months and have created a resume/dossier on my dogs and haven't had much luck due to the volume of the competition for the houses; now I am running into a time crunch as I need to be working on-site in the next two weeks. Does anyone have recommendations on pet-friendly apartment buildings that will negotiate and accept 3 little 10-15 pounders (larger deposit, extra pet rent) or does anyone recommend any agents/brokers that are experienced in dealing with this and could help us find an apartment either in Manhattan or Brooklyn? I'll be working around Midtown/Midtown West and am open to all of Manhattan south of 116th and open to the Park Slope/Williamsburg/DUMBO areas of Brooklyn. I will also consider Long Island City for the right place. Ideally we'd need some grassy areas on-site or across the street; a good sized balcony or terrace would work really well. I will also need parking either on-site or close-by. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! [less]

Just a general comment, this is one of the reasons you should search with a buyer's agent. Their systems are more detailed and they can help you find apartments that allow only certain types of pets, like cats only etc. And it's free to have a buyer's agent! https://www.hauseit.com/should-you-hire-a-buyers-broker-in-nyc/
I recomment HighLine Residential Realtor, Joe Lore, Mr. Spyridakis. They are awesome.
