Hi, I am relocating to NYC from Chicago and have 3 small really well-behaved older dogs. I've been looking at houses in the suburbs for the past two months and have created a resume/dossier on my dogs and haven't had much luck due to the volume of the competition for the houses; now I am running into a time crunch as I need to be working on-site in the next two weeks. Just a general comment, this is one of the reasons you should search with a buyer's agent. Their systems are more detailed and they can help you find apartments that allow only certain types of pets, like cats only etc. And it's free to have a buyer's agent! https://www.hauseit.com/should-you-hire-a-buyers-broker-in-nyc/
