Discussion about
Because of how big the Stuyvesant Town/Peter Cooper Village project is, they always have units available so they "spot price" them (i.e. they change the prices on almost a daily basis, based on how many of each type of unit they have and what they have to move). Well, it seems like there is an unusual amount of vacancies right now in PCV and as a result there are some good opportunities. For example, they have some large (1300+ SF) 3 bedroom units with their "platinum level" finish for $5,600. So that's my tip for y'all ad to what I think is a good deal right now.

Indeed seems a good deal. I would have thought it is close to $6k.

There's a reason for that -

Most likely buildings closer to 14th St. are getting these discounts.

These are rent stabilized leases at PC/Stuy Town? I assume rents are a little cheaper at Stuy?

Stache-
Actually, no.

Ximon,
All PCV/ST units are Rent Stabilized. The rents generally are cheaper at Stuyvesant Town for multiple reasons but mostly because the units are substantially smaller (750sf 1 BRs vs 950sf in PC).
