People are moving out in droves. Repairs are slow to be made and many are merely transient neighbors

Repairs are extremely slow. Renter beware.

Rats are a persistent problem in basement and when garbage is put out for collection. Managing agent is difficult to reach when problems arise and agree that repairs take a long time to get done.

The rat situation makes coming home after dark in the evenings when garbage is out out for morning pickup truly unpleasant. Rats scurry between building and curbside. Many tenants choose to walk down the middle of the street to reach the building entrance to avoid passing between the building and the garbage.

With rents this high you would expect much more. there is terrible turnover due to management indifference to maintenance and repairs.

It is so easy to do a good job and not skimp on providing a nice environment for those of us paying high rents.
I would suggest looking elsewhere.
