Interested renters beware... My wife and I were so excited to move into The Offerman a month ago (late April '18), but are still without reliable hot water today. Management / ownership is aware of the issue, which is affecting a number of residents (that I'm in contact with, there are likely even more). We're told that "everything is being done to fix the problem" but it's hard to believe. Last we heard, management believes a hot water boiler is broken. Hard to believe this takes over a month to discover and resolve in a newly renovated building. Not having hot water for a month (and longer for some fellow residents) has been horrible.
I am a resident with firsthand experience. Do not rent here. The building is beautiful but as other reviewers have stated, we have had hot water, gas, and heat issues the entire year we have been here. If this changes I will update my review. If you are reading this, there are still issues and the building is in violation of NYC housing law. Yes it has been reported multiple times.
