Discussion about 425 Riverside Drive #7I
We rented in the building two years ago but we are now asked to pay a double digit rent hike when inflation is running at 2% per year. In addition, management is planning to reduce personnel and service - No doorman in the side entrance for instance. Other buildings treat tenants more fairly!

As a renter, just move if you can get a better deal. That is the only way to negotiate. Landlords will try to maximize profits by increasing whatever they can get away with. Or you can always buy. There are plenty of options in the market.
