Discussion about 5 Beekman Street in Fulton/Seaport

Seems like 15% of the total number of units are now for sale or under contract. Is there a problem? Are prices heading lower? Monthly taxes and condo fees seem high.

I don't know much about this building but I know the area well. Doesn't seem that surprising that the sales pace would be slow for such a luxurious building in such a secondary location. Surrounding area is a real mish-mash of Class B/C offices, hospitals, city agencies and a university. Never a hip area to live, just cheap. Great views though.
