We own a single family townhouse in Bushwick and I’m looking to replace the ugly cheap aluminum doors with something wood that will look better and sit within a frame with a better seal. I paid a guy three months ago for a new glass steel door, and no telling when it’ll be delivered, as he’s so behind... so I’d like to find a different vendor for the front door, someone that can deliver earlier than three months.... just hoping to get references for a door from people who are happy. Also having trouble finding a mason that can redo my sidewalk and repair stucco around base of house. I’ve gotten two quotes so far that we’re wildly different in price and methods as to fixing the stucco. (One said he’ll patch it up, the other said he’s too busy but that it needs to be removed completely and replaced). So, again, trying to find someone I can trust. [less]
Call Dykes for doors.

If you're looking to create a decorative period-style metal door David Savage is very good. http://savagemetalrestoration.com/ Located upstate NY but does a lot of work in NYC. Recommended.
