Discussion about
Another goodie. We sat down with Ryan Serhant and Steven Markowicz of NestSeekers the other day. They run a 60 person team, basically a small brokerage, and shared their thoughts on where we are right now. Note - I recommend using the Audio Only link in the article. The tech we use for screencasting is about to launch new app and the audio hit a snag in the video at the 2 min mark. Apologies. We expect these growing pains A/V wise to end soon. Enjoy! https://medium.com/@noahrosenblatt/talking-manhattan-ryan-serhant-of-nestseekers-international-cc7236d03d2a
hmm, not sure why my paragraphs are not spacing and formatting correctly. They appear fine in the preview box, but when I post, it combines into 1 paragraph.
Consider hiring a sound engineer to figure out your audio problems.
Thank you for another video.
One thing I like about Ryan is that he is quite transparent about what he is trying to do, which is to facilitate a transaction at whatever level a transaction will occur, and he tries to break through the anxieties that prevent transactions from occurring. He doesn't pretend to be giving investment advice, etc.
Yeah, I'm all over that stache. It's the useloom screen casting tech, so unsure if I will keep that format or just go video only. I kind of like the concept of showing UD charts without having to edit and produce the video with embedded charts later. I got 4 more vids ready to roll with existing tech, so let's see how this came out.
Money will be interested into this concept though
Sorry typo, meant to say, money will be "invested" into this concept
The joys of being a producer are upon you! : )
Personally I think the videos would be much more enjoyable/watchable with a full screen shot of you and your guests.
Yeah, things very well may end up that way in time
I agree with Keith. While I like the idea of you being able to show charts in real time while talking with your guests, in reality it's only relevant/useful about 5% to 10% of the interview and it might be easier to focus and overcome the audio issues if you all were full screen. I think the format works better for a tutorial or if you were personally making a vlog post and illustrating what you were talking about with charts.
Ideally I think what would work best is a 2 screen/camera setup with camera/screen 1 being the video of the interview and screen 2 being the screen capture, but since so many people would be watching on their phones/don't have hardware setup to deal with such a feed that suggestion I just made is totally impractical.
