You likely have through wall PTAC unit with coop supplying the hot water for it. The life of these units is no more than 20 years for cooling as refrigerant may have leaked and fan gets old. I would even say replace if they are older than 15 years. The cost should be $1800-2500 to replace them. Call Figlia and sons. If these units are only for cooling, it should be cheaper. If these are not vented to outside as in there is no venting hole in your exterior wall, they can be more expensive. Btw, which company does your coop recommend? You can provide a competing quote from Figlia to managing agent and seek approval.
