Avoid 248 Broome St at all costs

I can not even begin to explain how terrible this building is. There are bugs EVERYWHERE (management is supposed to have someone spray for bugs every 2 weeks but flat out told us they don't feel like climbing up the stairs so they usually only do the 1st couple floors so that has happened maybe 2-5 times in the last year), the longstanding residents are SO DIRTY and LESS than pleasant, management is essentially nonexistent ( we went THREE days with no heat in the middle of winter before they fixed it (averaged ~28 degrees in our apartment ), the main door is broken and management refuses to replace the lock so it remains propped open at all times - allowing anyone to come in (I have had several high value packages stolen). IF YYOURE SMART AVOID THIS DEATH TRAP OF A BUILDING!!!!!!!
