Is 100 amps sufficient for a 600 sq ft apartment?

Re wiring a 600 sq ft co op, NYC code asks for a minimum of 100 amps, not sure if it's enough. Have other people had experience with this?

100 amps is more than enough unless you are going to use more than one electric or induction oven.
