Discussion about
I Live on the 10th floor of a building with inward opening casement windows. I also have a cat who thinks he can fly. Any suggestions for a solution/company to figure this out?

Will you be allowed to install standard mesh screens used in double hung windows. Naturally you will need some type of frame to hold it.

Assuming I can get permission to attach the frame/screens on the exterior of the building, do you have any suggestions for companies that could do this?

Most buildings have a window repair company. Usually best to ask them to avoid hassle with the building and if you like shop for lower quotes from other window repair companies.

In my old building there was a cat that jumped out of a window and wound up falling on the awning. The look on the cat's face after he was rescued was so funny!

You open the window and stick it on the gap between window panel and frame. It is not elegant but does the job for $50 if you are not opening your window every day which most people do not due to weather in NYC. One may find some type of screens which stick on the outside too with improvised safety catch. Again, not elegant but it is a solution.

I think hard to find screens stick from the outside because you can't press from outside for all 4 sides, 3 sides the max
