Best method to get Lease Assignment

Hey all, Am in a 664 Sqft Studio in Battery Park City, recently had a baby and now with no shared amenities open - it's impossible to live and work with the little one. Lease finishes 31st Oct but need to find a way to move to a place with space. What are my options? Trying to find lease assignment swaps, but no idea how this can work. Any thoughts?
