Hi My wife and I have to move to Murray Hill in about 6 months. We are looking for a 1 bedroom 1 bath condo and haven't found anything on the MLS. We would like: a washer/dryer in the unit (or the building's permission to install one) a roll in shower for someone in a wheelchair (or the building's permission to renovate to create such a shower.

I have a 1 bed in Kips Bay with w/d and the building allows roll in shower and it's possible in this unit.

Forbidding a roll in shower conversion I'm guessing would be an ADA violation.
