Discussion about 25 Central Park West #10J
What is the correct way to make an appointment for an Open House without having to go through a sales broker?

Contact the owner directly? But they probably don't want to do that -- that's why they have a sales agent. Why bother going around the sales broker? Setting up an appointment w/ a sales broker doesn't automatically create an obligation for you to use that broker as your buyer's agent (but don't sign any paperwork that creates that obligation).

Quirky, but interesting and workable floorplan.

I think Thomas probably means a buyer's broker as SE tricks you into getting a buyer's broker. If so, he can call the seller's broker (Google Search the contact info) and make an appointment.

Click on Schedule a Showing or Ask a Question. Ignore the agent shown. Scroll down to click on "If you'd like, you may contact the seller's agent." It is at the very bottom and in light gray color. You will find the listing agent once you click on that link. In this case, it is Joseph A Olshefski from Douglas Elliman. You can either email him or call under the CONTACT THIS AGENT section.
