In this listing, the broker has spent time photoshopping beds into spaces that don't appear to be legal as bedrooms. The floorplans don't mention bedrooms, though the SE listing claims 3 of them. https://streeteasy.com/building/216-east-75-street-new_york/maisonettew?trending=1 (And when was it ever Warhol's home?)

It seems even upper level is more than 50% below grade but no way to tell for sure from the pictures. So both levels may be inhabitable space.

So I checked Certificate of Occupancy our of curiosity. Upper level is basement which means bedrooms are allowed. However, lower level is cellar which means full bath and bedrooms are certainly now allowed.
