I rented unit 1A back in 2019/2020 and was absolutely shocked at the electric bills coming through. Around $300-400 a month with no AC and very little heat used, for a single person who worked out of an office nearly all day, and these bills were nearly 3x-4x that of my neighbors' (I asked all of them that lived in a ground floor unit). ConEd couldn't do anything, I was told to hire and pay for an electrician out of pocket to get to the bottom of what was going on (faulty wiring I suspect) - oh and there was MOLD in the basement.
Management company denied anything was wrong with the electricity, but I've never in my life had bills like that as a single person.
I've watched this unit over the years have insane amounts of turnover, so want to warn anyone looking at unit 1A - good luck.

I also live in this apartment now, the first two months the electric bills were 300, this month it was 600 and I was out of the apartment for 50% of the time the first two months. I lived up the street and my bill was about 100 or so a day.
