Buying coop - are these fees to management normal

Buying a coop in manhattan, the management company is charging all kinds of fees. I'm specifically confused by Application fee ($500) and the aztec review fee ($500). Could anyone please share your thoughts? Are these fees paid to the management company normal? The aztec is one piece of paper. Am I being overcharged?
