I just started looking last year for a UES 1 BR co-op. Seems like while the rest of the country is a hot market, the UES is still slow. Is it going out of favor? Specifically, a unit at 1230 Park has been on and off the market for more than a year. Perhaps the Board is limiting what it can sale for. If that's the case, what's the exit strategy if you buy a co-op in NY? Are you hamstrung?
