Number of units for sale in a building

When I see so many units for sale in a single, medium sized building, it makes me wonder what's going on there: https://streeteasy.com/building/102-west-80-street-new_york Any educated guesses?

The description of the first three I clicked on all including the phrase "sponsor sale," so it looks like the sponsor is selling his/her/their holdings in a chunk.

It's also only 5 units, each listed twice because of co-exclusive agencies.
